The Outer Banks of North Carolina appeal to a variety of people for many different reasons.  If you are considering having your destination wedding here chances are you have your own love for the island.  Maybe you've been coming here your whole life or your significant other brought your here and this is where you fell in love.  Whether you come here to fish, enjoy one of our many watersports or you simply love the relaxed style of the Outer Banks, I understand that love.  
The Outer Banks and Hatteras Island allow you the opportunity to have a casual beach wedding, a traditional church ceremony or something larger.  Hatteras Island Weddings and Events wants to make your dream wedding come true.  We strive to connect you with professional local vendors to serve you.  
By hiring a wedding planner, either full service or day of coordination, you can rest assure I will help take the guess work out of your decision making by providing you with contact information and recommendations for all your wedding needs.  From vendors to venues there are contracts to sign and deadline payments to be made which can easily become overwhelming.
At Hatteras Island Weddings it is my goal to help you feel protected and heard by vendors and I will always look out for your best interest.
Along with these services I can also help guide you with proper wedding etiquette and keep you on track with a detailed breakdown of your wedding deadlines.  I can also assist you with finding accommodations for you and guests and sharing with you what I think of as the "what not to miss" while you're visiting.  I strive to help you plan your dream wedding with minimal stress to you and your family.

Day of Coordinator Package
  • Service not to begin more than 3 months prior to wedding date
  • Provide assistance and guidance with Ceremony and Reception Coordination by phone and email
  • 1 In person meeting
  • 1 hour Rehearsal Coordination
  • Confirm details with vendors, does not include assistance with selecting vedors
  • Handle questions or concerns of vendors to help carry out your plans exactly
  • Oversee vendor set up 
  • Provide final payment to vendors on your behalf
  • Preparation of Timeline and delivery to all vendors 
  • Assistance with placement of place settings or premade decorations
  • On site Day of Wedding Coordinator for 10 hours
 
 
Basic Planning Package
  • Services to begin no sooner than 4 months prior to wedding date
  • Provide substantial assistance and guidance with Ceremony and Reception Planning by phone and email
  • In person meetings
  • 1 hour Rehearsal Coordination
  • Timeline for you to work through and complete to help keep you on schedule
  • Assistance with developing and managing a proper budget, with your own custom budget breakdown
  • Complete list of quality vendor contact information and assistance choosing vendors and venues
  • Arrange and attend Vendor and Venue meetings 
  • Preparation of Timeline and delivery to all vendors and attendants 
  • Placement of place settings or premade table decorations
  • On site Wedding Coordinator for 10 hours the day of
  • Includes some set up and breakdown of tables and chairs
Premiere Planning Package 
  • Services to begin upon completion of contract
  • Provide substantial assistance and guidance with Ceremony and Reception Planning, including complete booking on your behalf and payment on your behalf
  • 1 hour Rehearsal Coordination
  • Timeline for you to work through and complete to help keep you on schedule
  • Assistance developing and managing a budget, with your own custom budget breakdown
  • Complete list of quality vendor contact information and assistance choosing vendors and venues
  • Arrange and attend all Vendor and Venue meetings
  • Preparation of Timeline and delivery to all vendors and attendants
  • Placement of place settings or table decorations
  • Arrange hair and makeup appointment for bride and bridal party
  • Order Wedding Invitations, Save the Date or Thank You Cards
  • Can include addressing and Mailing of Wedding Invitations if you so desire
  • Detailed seating chart with diagram
  • Arranged transportation schedule to and from ceremony and reception for bridal party
  • Accommodations and activities information to be included in invitations to Guests
  • On site Wedding Coordinator for 10 hours the day of

Al a Carte and Extras
  • Day of Coordination at an hourly rate

Please note
  • Vendors include Photographer, Videographer, Caterer, Baker, DJ or Musician, Florist, Event Rental Company and Officiant
  • Venues include Ceremony location and Reception location
  • Realty Company's on Hatteras Island offer event homes for an additional fee
  • All ceremonies preformed on oceanfront beaches require a NPS permit
  • Arranged transportation does not include cost of transportation
  • Any additional Wedding Ceremony or Reception hours will be billed at $75/hr
